About School

Our school is a public senior high school of general education leading students to university after national entrance exams. We are 140 students aged 15-18 and 15 teachers. It is located in a rural area in the suburbs of Patras (Vrachneika) in the west of Greece. The school is 35 years old with students of working class and farmer families mainly, coming from lots of surrounding areas/villages.

The students' team:

We firstly created a questionnaire in google drive and send it to our students. Actually, it was an invitation to the 1st and 2nd class so as to take part in the Erasmus+ project. We had a wide participation both from the students and the teachers! After studying the complete questionnaires we decided to work with 25 students aged 15-16. Afterwards, we drew our school action plan which includes the time planning and the actions to be undertaken.

The Teachers' team:

The teachers' team consists of 5 teachers. Alexandra Kopana literature and Greek language teacher(headmistress), Vasiou Maria, literature and Greek language teacher, Margarita Mpista, literature and Greek language teacher, Natasa Machaira, Science teacher, Efstathia Psoraki, math’s teacher, Charitatou Ioanna, sociology teacher.
